Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7: First pictures are here
Xiaomi is currently preparing to launch the Redmi Pad SE 4G in India on July 29th. At the same time, a second Xiaomi tablet is in the making, namely the Redmi Pad SE 8.7. And the first pictures and the most important technical data for this compact device just appeared on X.
As you can imagine, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is based on an 8.7-inch LCD display with an HD resolution of 800 x 1,340 pixels. There is a 5 megapixel selfie camera on the front and an 8 MP main camera on the back. It is expected to be powered by a Helio G99 chipset from MediaTek. There is also 4 GB of RAM and either 64 or 128 GB of storage. There is also a microSD card slot for memory expansion with cards up to 2 TB in size.
The software side is taken over by Android 14, presumably with Xiaomi’s Hyper OS surface, and the power supply is a 6,650 mAh battery. In addition, there is a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Stereo speakers with a Dolby Atmos certification are also on board the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7.
