Motorola Edge 50 Neo: First pictures and technical data

A successor is slowly but surely getting ready for the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, which was introduced last September. Motorola has not yet revealed anything about the Edge 50 Neo. But a new leak has now revealed the most important technical data. The accompanying images also leave little to the imagination.

The source claims that the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It boots Android 14 with Moto’s Hello UI interface and there are two storage configurations with 8/256 GB or 12/512 GB. The smartphone also has a 6.5-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A 4,310 mAh battery supplies the Motorola smartphone with power.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo also has a total of four cameras, most notably the 50 megapixel main camera on the back. There is also a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10 MP telephoto lens and a 32 MP selfie camera on the front.
Other highlights of the Edge 50 Neo include Dolby Atmos support, an IP68 rating for protection against water and dust, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. The smartphone is 8.1 mm thick, weighs 171 g and is available in four color options – Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille and Poinciana.
