The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro went on a world tour today. Both phones can be pre-ordered from today, with general sales starting on June 26. They join the cheaper Honor 200 Lite, which has been available worldwide since April.

Honor 200 Pro

The Honor 200 Pro is the top model in the series with a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1,224 x 2,700 pixel resolution. The refresh rate is 120 Hz and the peak brightness is 4,000 nits. It runs on the fairly new flagship killer Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a 4nm chipset combined with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Power is provided by a 5,200 mAh battery with 100 watts of wired and 66 watts of wireless charging. In case of emergency, there is also 5 watt fast wired reverse charging on board.

The cameras are the focus of the Honor 200 Pro. There are three 50 megapixel sensors for the wide-angle, zoom and selfie camera. There is also a 12 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus. The 50 megapixel f/2.1 selfie camera also has a 2 megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor.

Honor has teamed up with the renowned French photo studio Harcourt to optimize the cameras, especially the AI Portrait Engine. The engine is intended to bring Harcourt’s craftsmanship and understanding of shadow and light expression to portrait shots. The Chinese are also coming with an improved Honor RAW Domain Algorithm for balanced portraits. This is intended to improve exposure in both bright and dark scenes.

Honor 200

The Honor 200 doesn’t make too many compromises. The 6.7-inch OLED display is almost as sharp at 1,200 x 2,664 pixels, but has the same refresh rate and brightness. The 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with 8 or 12 GB RAM is more of a downgrade. The 5,200 mAh battery is identical, but only charges via cable at 100 watts and reverse-cable at 5 watts.

You get a similar camera system with a 50 megapixel wide angle with a smaller sensor and what appears to be the same 50 megapixel telephoto lens. The 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle with autofocus and the 50 megapixel f/2.1 selfie camera are also identical, although the latter does not have a depth sensor.

Honor 200 Lite

Finally, a word about the Honor 200 Lite, which is already available worldwide. It offers a 108-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with a high-resolution mode and a 50-megapixel f/2.1 selfie camera. The 6nm Dimensity 6080 processor draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with 35W charging.

The 200 Lite is available from the Honor website and major retailers for £280/€329. You can get £30 off on the UK Honor website using the code “A200L30”. You can pre-order the other two Honor smartphones from today and buy them from June 26.

The 200 Pro with 12/512GB costs £700/€799. As a bonus, you get a free Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 50W Bluetooth speaker. The normal price is £280. The Honor 200 with 8/256GB costs £500/€599 and comes with a free JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi (£200). Honor does not guarantee that the two speakers will be available. The Honor 200 with 12/512GB costs €649.
