Realme 12 introduced with Dimensity 6100+ and 108 MP camera
The 12 series welcomed the fourth member today – the Realme 12 is here. The entry-level model features a Dimensity 6100+ chipset, a 108 megapixel main camera with 3x in-sensor zoom and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45 watt charging support.
The Realme 12 features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel offers a peak brightness of 950 nits and has an 8 megapixel selfie camera. Realme has opted for a dual camera setup on the back. The star of the show is the 108 megapixel ISOCELL HM6 main camera with an f/1.75 aperture and 9-in-1 pixel binning as well as triple in-sensor zoom. The other camera on the back is a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ chipset is at the helm along with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The latter can be expanded using the microSD card slot. It is also the first Realme phone to feature the brand’s Dynamic Button. The power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner and can switch between 7 functions with a long press. This includes, for example, starting the camera app and switching to Do Not Disturb mode. The Realme 12 uses Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 and has a 5,000 mAh battery with 45 watt charging. Other notable features include stereo speakers and a headphone jack.
The Realme 12 is available in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green. Prices start at INR 16,999 (€188/$205) for the 6/128GB version. The 8/128GB variant costs INR 1,000 (€11/$12) more. Pre-sales begin today at 3 p.m. local time. Realme is also offering a INR 2,000 (€22/$24) coupon for the 6/128GB version.
