The Samsung Galaxy A55 will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A35 on March 11th. But today a Belgian telecommunications company spoiled the surprise and listed the Galaxy A55 on its website with a full spec sheet and a few official images.

Most of the technical data of the Samsung Galaxy A55 were already known, but are confirmed again by today’s leak. It is powered by an Exynos 1480 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, there were already rumors suggesting that there could also be variants with 12 GB of RAM. Additionally, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

With a diagonal of 6.6 inches, the display is slightly larger than the Galaxy A54 and is based on OLED technology. In the middle you can see the cutout for the selfie camera. The camera setup on the back is unchanged from the Galaxy A54. The Samsung Galaxy A55 also gets a 50 megapixel main camera, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 5 megapixel macro camera.

Upfront a 32 megapixel camera takes selfies. The Galaxy A55 also retains the 5,000 mAh battery, but starts with the latest Android 14. With this leak, there isn’t too much left to reveal at the planned Samsung event other than the prices. But maybe there will be a suitable leak beforehand.
