Last week the alleged price for the Indian market leaked and as of today it is finally official – the Samsung Galaxy F15 is here. The phone will go on sale in India in Ash Black, Groovy Violet and Jazzy Green colors from March 11 through Flipkart and Samsung India. An “Early Sale” starts today at 7 p.m. local time.

The Samsung Galaxy F15 comes with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2,340 pixel resolution, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a waterdrop notch. At its heart is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset that boots Android 14 and One UI 6. There are also four major Android updates and five years of security patches.

On the back of the Galaxy F15 you will find Samsung’s typical triple camera system with a 50 megapixel main camera. You also get a 5 megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2 megapixel macro camera and a 13 megapixel selfie cam. In addition, Samsung has installed a side fingerprint sensor in the power button and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 25 watt fast charging. The appropriate charger is not included in the scope of delivery, but almost everyone should have plenty of it lying around at home by now.

If these technical data sound familiar, you have already come across the Galaxy A15 5G a short time ago. Except for the 6,000 mAh battery, the two Samsung phones are practically identical – the A15 has 1,000 mAh less.

The Samsung Galaxy F15 costs INR 12,999 (€144/$157) with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage or INR 14,499 (€161/$175) with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Interestingly, both prices are INR 500 lower than the rumored ones.
