Nothing’s cheapest smartphone to date, the Phone (2a), is scheduled to be officially released on March 5th. The closer this date gets, the more leaks about the mid-range smartphone appear. This time with even more renderings in two color variants – gray/black and white.

Nothing has always offered two shades for its devices, one lighter and one darker. You can clearly see the Nothing Phone (2a)’s two cameras on the back, giving the new model a design that is difficult to mistake. There are also three Glyph LEDs, but no round coil for wireless charging like the Phone (1) and Phone (2).

Even if the display of the Nothing Phone (2a) cannot be fully seen, the edges appear extremely narrow and symmetrical. This fits with Nothing’s previous design language, but is not a given given the expected low price. The power button and volume button on the white version are in contrasting black.

Nothing has already confirmed that the phone (2a) has a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset under the hood. This is apparently a version of the 7200 chip that was developed specifically for Nothing. According to a previous rumor, the 8/128 GB variant will cost 349 euros, while the 12/256 GB model is priced at 399 euros.
