Xiaomi 14 Ultra gets special titanium edition
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will launch internationally on February 25th at MWC in Barcelona. The base model will also be on stage, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro will probably remain exclusive to the Chinese market. The Ultra’s RAM and storage combinations have now appeared in China. However, these are initially only the versions for the Chinese market. Only a few variants may be offered internationally.
According to a tipster on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter/X, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the base version. There will also be versions with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage as well as with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
Interestingly, there are also rumors about a special edition made of titanium, which will only be available as a top model with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Accordingly, the normal Xiaomi 14 Ultra will not have a titanium frame. According to the tip, the Titan special edition will be around CNY 500 (€64/$69) more expensive than the non-Titan 16GB/1TB version.
According to previous rumors, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. There is also a quad-camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with variable aperture, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50-megapixel 3.2x telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto lens. We also get a 32 megapixel selfie camera and protection against water and dust according to IP68. The 5,300 mAh battery charges with 90 watts via cable and 50 watts wirelessly. The operating system we can expect is Android 14 with HyperOS as the interface.
