Apple iPhone SE 4 to get Dynamic Island
The Apple iPhone SE may not be dead after all. In a report at the beginning of 2023, it was said that Apple would discontinue the affordable model series. In December, however, a rumor emerged that the iPhone SE 4 would inherit the iPhone 14’s battery. Today, however, a new report claims that there will be no notch on the next iPhone SE.
Instead, Apple reportedly plans to port the Dynamic Island and various other features first seen on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, the Apple iPhone SE will apparently only have a main camera, but will otherwise adopt the current iPhone design. In fact, the new SE could have a lot in common with the upcoming iPhone 16 in terms of design. The dimensions will be very similar to those of the iPhone Xr.
However, even the source of today’s information warns that the whole thing should be taken with a pinch of salt. Apple has so far introduced a new SE model every two years, and the last one dates back to March 2022, which would mean that the successor model should be on the market next month. But as there is no concrete information about it yet, we assume that Apple still needs some time to develop it. Whenever it comes onto the market, a display from supplier BOE is likely to be on board.
