Nothing Phone (2a): New images without Glyph interface appeared
The Nothing Phone (2a) is on the way and today there were two leaks about the design. On the one hand, an official-looking press photo of the upcoming smartphone appeared. On the other hand, two pictures appeared on Reddit and Twitter along with various technical data. In addition to a dual camera, both sources do not show a Glyph interface. Otherwise the pictures differ significantly.
All three images are from today, but the two renderings above have just surfaced. They show the Nothing Phone (2a) with a transparent back that looks very similar to the cases of the Phone (1) and Phone (2). Apparently there is neither a wireless charging coil nor LEDs for a Glyph interface.
The images from the second leak, however, clearly contradict Nothing’s previous design language with the two cameras in the middle. However, the tipster also has some technical data for the Nothing Phone (2a) in his luggage. This includes a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset in combination with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage takes over the drive. The two cameras on the back of the phone (2a) will each have a resolution of 50 megapixels. In addition to the main camera, the second lens is likely to be an ultra-wide-angle camera. According to rumors, the new phone will be launched at a price in the region of €400/$400.
