vivo V30 introduced with three 50 MP cameras and SD 7 Gen 3
The vivo V30 is now official and the international launch has already begun. The phone features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a large battery. The body is the same as the vivo S18, but there has been a decent upgrade in the camera setup.
The vivo V30 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260p and a high peak brightness of 2,800 nits. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 under the hood of the vivo phone is manufactured using the modern 4nm process and has a 2.63 GHz octa-core CPU and an Adreno 720 GPU. There are four storage variants – 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB.
The vivo V30 is the first in the global market with the 50 megapixel OmniVision OV50E sensor. The chip is 1/1.55 inch in size and is located under the main camera. The ultra-wide-angle camera has another 50 megapixel sensor and autofocus. Finally, there is a third 50 megapixel camera with autofocus, which is responsible for selfies on the front.
A big improvement in the vivo V30 over its predecessor is the larger 5,000 mAh battery that supports 80 watts of fast FlashCharge. Nevertheless, the smartphone is only 7.5 mm thin. The interface used is Funtouch 14 based on Android 14, including the promise of a “50-month smooth experience”. This suggests that vivo is planning at least four years of software support.
The vivo V30 comes in four colors, each with a different finish. The Bloom White version has a 3D flower pattern, the Waving Aqua version has a rippling magnetic particle effect. With Lush Green you get a color change and with Noble Black you get stable Fluorite AG Glass. The phone will come to more than 30 markets. These include, among others, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
