OnePlus 11 and 12: New software update brings AI functions
OnePlus has rolled out software updates for the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12 in China, bringing new AI-powered features to both smartphones. The update for the OnePlus 11 has firmware version PHB110_14.0.0.403(CN01), while the update for the OnePlus 12 has firmware version PJD110_14.0.0.405(CN01). Both updates include the AI Summariser, AIGC Remover and Article Summaries as well as upgrades for Breeno Touch.
Additionally, the updates add the “Device motion & orientation” permission to the OnePlus 11 and 12’s settings. You can also unlock the OnePlus phones with the new firmware using the fingerprint sensor without waking up the screen. You can control QQ Music via the always-on display and view an active screen recording in the status bar or in a floating window.
The OnePlus 12 update also improves the stability and compatibility of the Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi antennas. Finally, the Chinese have also fixed problems with signal strength in subway-like places.
If you live in China and have not yet received the update on your OnePlus 11 or 12, you can search for it manually as usual. To do this, simply start the manual search under “Software update” in the settings.
