This is what a visionOS update looks like on the Apple Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro headset officially launches in the US today. Almost at the last second, Apple released the visionOS 1.0.2 update, which means that Vision Pro owners have to install a day one update. CNET’s Scott Stein released a video today showing what the headset looks like during and after the update process.

As the update installs, the bar on the front of the display will slowly fill, and once the update is complete, an Apple logo will appear during reboot.
Apple plans to regularly update the headset’s software. According to rumors, Apple will unveil the next big milestone, visionOS 2.0, at its annual developer conference – the World Wide Developer Conference in June.
