Samsung admits Galaxy S24 color problems, fix is coming

Samsung started selling the Galaxy S24 at the beginning of the week and immediately posted the first cell phone deals. In addition, some customers directly complained about a problem that was hard to ignore – the colors of the display appeared less vibrant than expected. A company representative confirmed that the development team is already working on the issue and will fix it “as soon as possible” through a software update.

The problem on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Dynamic 2X AMOLED display occurs in Vivid mode. Apparently the colors are less bright than most users had hoped. Instead, they are more similar to the natural color profile – there is little difference between the two modes.
If you compare the colors of the Samsung Galaxy S24 with its predecessor, the Galaxy S23, the problem can hardly be dismissed. The display is clearly not as saturated as the Galaxy S23. The Samsung chat support representative assured that a solution to the problem would come, but unfortunately did not give a specific time frame.
We will keep an eye on the issue and update you as soon as a fix is on the way.
