Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Unboxing shortly before launch
Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy S24 series takes place tomorrow and pretty much all the specs and design have already been revealed over the past few months. There is still a bit of room left for the last last-minute leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, though.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra appeared in three unboxing videos in three different colors – titanium yellow, titanium violet and titanium gray. The boxes feature color-matched silhouettes of the S24 Ultra that look identical to the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra boxes.
The videos show the new titanium frames of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which are exclusively installed on the top models in the series. The other notable point relates to the frames. On the yellow and silver models, the colors of the frames match the back. The purple version has a contrasting silver frame instead.
A second leak from Samsung Austria today also shed some light on the Earlybird offers. As is almost tradition at Samsung, pre-orderers get a free memory expansion. For example, if you buy the 128GB model, you will get the 256GB model instead, and so on. However, the 1TB version (when purchasing 512GB) is limited to only 2,000 units at all participating retailers in Austria. Similar restrictions are likely to apply in other countries where the same promotion applies. Anyone who trades in an old Smartphone or Tablet will receive a guaranteed bonus of €100 in addition to the trade-in value. This offer is valid from January 17th to 30th.
The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are also offered in several exclusive colors that are only available online directly from Samsung. These include jade green, sapphire blue and sandstone orange. The exclusive online shades of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be Titanium Green, Titanium Blue and Titanium Orange.
