Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series goes international with five models

Xiaomi has introduced two affordable new Redmi Note 13 models with LTE chipsets for international markets. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G has a Helio G99 chipset, while the Note 13 4G relies on a Snapdragon 685. The Pro model has 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. The base model is one size smaller and has 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage under the hood.

Both Xiaomi phones feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanners. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G also uses Gorilla Glass 5 protection, while the normal Note 13 uses Gorilla Glass 3 instead. The peak brightness is 1,300 nits.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro also retains the 200 megapixel main camera with a Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor. Just like the Note 13 Pro 5G, the chip offers up to four times in-sensor zoom. The base model sticks with the 108 megapixel main camera with triple in-sensor zoom. Both smartphones also have an 8 megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 2 megapixel macro camera and 16 megapixel front cameras. Unfortunately, due to the chipsets, neither device supports recording of 4K videos, which is a bit of a shame with 200 megapixel cameras.
The Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro have 5,000 mAh batteries, but the Pro model charges significantly faster at 67 watts compared to 33 watts for the entry-level model. Both phones run Android 13 with MIUI 14 and are IP54 dust and splash-proof. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is available in Midnight Black, Forest Green and Lavender Purple. Prices for the 8/256GB variant start at €300/$250/£279. The Redmi Note 13 4G is available in Midnight Black, Ming Green and Ice Blue. The 6/128 GB version starts at €200/$179/£199.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G also goes on a world tour
Three months after the launch in China, the 5G versions are finally on their way to international markets, too. Unfortunately, Xiaomi’s new HyperOS interface is not yet included. After starting with MIUI, the latest software will soon arrive via OTA update.
In addition to the 200-megapixel wide camera, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G also has 120 watt fast charging and is waterproof to IP68. The 12/256 GB version costs around €450 in Europe. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G has retained the 200 megapixel camera, but has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The 5,000 mAh battery charges via cable at a slightly slower 67 watts. The Redmi Note 13 5G with a Dimensity 6080 chipset is the cheapest of the three models at €280.
