Realme 12 Pro+: New hands-on video shows design and UI
The Realme 12 series has already had to endure various detailed leaks with numerous details about the camera setup, among other things. Official information also came that the Realme smartphones will be launched this month. A new hands-on video on YouTube now shows first practical experience with the Realme 12 Pro+, also known as RMX3841.
In addition to some interesting information, the video also contains several color variants of the Realme 12 Pro+. We also get to see a variant with faux leather on the back and a tour of the user interface. Some technical data, especially about the new cameras, already leaked in the article linked above. This includes the 6.7-inch OLED display with a FullHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset works together with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. But the highlight of the Realme 12 Pro+ will likely be the camera setup. The affordable smartphones will not only have a periscope telephoto lens. It will also inherit the main camera and ultra wide cam of the flagship model GT5 Pro. In detail, this involves a 50 megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, a 64 megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope and an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera. A 32 megapixel front camera takes selfies in a punchhole on the front of the smartphone.
In addition, we already know that the Realme 12 Pro+ has a 5,000 mAh battery on board. The 8.75 mm thick case weighs 196 grams and has a plastic frame. The device shown in the video runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 as the user interface.
