Xiaomi Poco X6 series with 120Hz displays and 67W charging is here
After various leaks, Xiaomi finally introduced the Poco X6 series and the Poco M6 Pro 4G today. The X6 base model looks very similar to the Redmi Note 13 Pro, but swaps the 200 megapixel main camera for a 64 megapixel camera. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, on the other hand, is identical and a big step forward compared to last year’s Poco X5 and its Snapdragon 695.
On the other hand, under the hood of the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro is a renamed Redmi K70E with the same flagship Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset from MediaTek. However, Xiaomi has slightly reduced the charging speed from 90 to 67 watts. Both Poco X6 have 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits.
In addition, the 16 megapixel front cameras in punchholes are identical, as are the fingerprint sensors integrated into the display – a first for Poco smartphones. The 64 megapixel main camera offers 2x lossless in-sensor zoom and includes OIS. In addition, Xiaomi has installed an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixel macro lens.
The Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro already runs on the new HyperOS based on Android 14. The normal X6, on the other hand, still has to make do with MIUI 14, but it should also be updated soon. Poco also guarantees three major Android version updates and four years of security patches for both X6 models.
The Pro’s battery is 5,100 mAh, a full 100 mAh larger than the base model, but the charging speeds are identical at 67 watts. Poco sells the latter in black, white and blue, while the Poco X6 Pro is available in black, gray and the signature Poco yellow.

Xiaomi Poco X6 prices in India start at INR 21,999 for the 8/256 GB model and go up to INR 24,999 with 12/512 GB. Internationally you pay a minimum of $249 and a maximum of $319. The X6 Pro starts at INR 26,999 with 8/256 GB and costs a maximum of INR 28,999 for the 12/512 GB variant. International prices start at $299 and go up to $369. The open sale in India begins on January 16 at 12pm on Flipkart.
