Samsung Galaxy S24: Double storage, 4K120fps videos
The new Samsung Galaxy S24 flagships will be officially launched on January 17th. Pre-orders are expected to begin the next day. According to leaked information from South Korea, Samsung will offer double the storage space at the original price to anyone who places an order before launch.
There will also be discounts for Samsungs Galaxy Watches and the Galaxy Buds FE. Furthermore, we can assume that similar offers will apply to all major markets that are part of the first wave.
Another big topic since the first leaks about the Galaxy S24 series has been Samsung Galaxy AI. Leaked images from Brazil have now reconfirmed one of the most important features in the computer industry in recent months. In addition, we also get two live images of the advertised Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in titanium gray. As has already been confirmed several times, there will be no major design changes compared to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, there are now apparently two microphones on the top.

One of the latest reports about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra already revealed a feature called Nightography Zoom, better 200 megapixel photos from the main camera and live translation during voice calls. With Nightography Zoom, Samsung wants to improve the image quality of telephoto cameras in low light conditions. But there seems to be another new camera function, at least on the S24 Ultra, that hardly any smartphone has: 4K videos with 120 frames per second.
The news comes from reliable and prolific tipster Ice Universe, who has a pretty good record concerning Samsung phones. However, the 4K120fps video recording is currently still in testing stage and may not make it into the final software. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature seamless zoom across multiple magnification levels at 4K60fps.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have four cameras. These include a 200 megapixel main camera, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a new 50 megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and the well-known 10 megapixel telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. 4K videos with 120 frames per second will probably be limited to the main camera for now. It remains to be seen which video resolutions and frame rates the other three cameras will support. One of the last leaks has already brought EU prices to light.
