Samsung Galaxy A23: One UI 6 update with Android 14 is here
Samsung has ready the next One UI 6 update based on Android 14 for another mid-range smartphone. It’s the turn of the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G and the new firmware is already available in several European countries, including the UK, France, Italy, Poland and Portugal.
The update is accompanied by firmware version A236BXXU4DWKA and is bundled with the November 2023 security patch. Android 14 is the last major operating system upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G. However, One UI 6.1 is likely to be ready next year before Samsung switches to only providing security updates for the device.
For the LTE variant of the Galaxy A23, Android 13 is still the latest operating system version available. But it probably won’t be long before Android 14 arrives here too. As soon as the update for the two Samsung smartphones arrives, you can simply download it as an OTA download. To do this, go to the Settings menu and then to Software Update and tap on the “Download and Install” option.
