Samsung Galaxy M53 and F54 get Android 14 with One UI 6
Another week, another round of One UI 6 updates based on Android 14 are here. Accordingly, Samsung shows no signs of slowing down its extremely high update pace. The latest models that receive the latest firmware are the Samsung Galaxy M53 and the Galaxy F54. The rollout of the software update has started in India for both Samsung phones.
The build for the Samsung Galaxy M53 has a size of 2.39 GB and comes as usual as an OTA download. It is called M536BXXU4DWL2 and also contains the security patch from November 2023. This doesn’t look too much like Samsung, as the Koreans usually include the latest patch in the package. Samsung may deliver the December security update for the Galaxy M53 by the end of the month.
The new firmware for the Samsung Galaxy F54 named E546BXXU3BWL1 also only includes the November security patch. Hopefully this is just a one-time blip and not a sign of things to come. Like the M53, the F54’s update is a fairly hefty download of 2.37GB. A WiFi connection is therefore recommended for the update.
The week has just begun and we are sure that more Samsung devices apart from the Galaxy M53 and Galaxy F54 will get the update to One UI 6 based on Android 14 in the coming days. Stay tuned.
