Xiaomi Redmi Book 16, Watch 4 and Buds 5 Pro: specs and design
Xiaomi will launch its Poco F6 / Redmi K70 series smartphones on Wednesday. And as usual, a number of other devices will be added to the cell phones. This includes a new 16-inch Windows notebook, the Xiaomi Redmi Book 16 (2024), as well as the Redmi Buds 5 Pro wireless earphones and the Redmi Watch 4 smartwatch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Book 16 (2024) will feature an Intel i5-13500H processor with a 47 watt performance mode, LPDDR5 RAM at 6,400 MB/s, and a revised cooling system with dual rotating fans and dual 8mm heatsinks. The notebook also has three USB 3.2 ports, a USB-C port for charging, HDMI and a headphone/microphone combo jack.
The Xiaomi Redmi Watch 4 comes to market in different strap styles. In addition to silicone, Milanese stainless steel, leather and a woven fabric are also available. Additionally, the Redmi Watch 4 will be the first Xiaomi smartwatch with an aluminum case. The LTPS AMOLED display has a size of 1.97 inches and a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. It also manages a peak brightness of up to 600 nits.
The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 Pro are expected to launch in black, white and blue colors. They feature an in-ear design and ANC, which is said to provide noise cancelling of up to 52 dB. The speaker setup sounds promising. In addition to 10 mm tweeters with a ceramic coating, the Xiaomi headphones also have 11 mm woofers with a titanium coating.
