OnePlus 12: Official photos, videos and launch date
The OnePlus 12 will launch in three colors – black, white and green. Today, various teasers have confirmed both the design and the official launch dates. The design largely corresponds to the already leaked images and is quite similar to the OnePlus 11.
The images suggest that the upcoming flagship will be the first OnePlus smartphone with a periscope lens for the telephoto camera. The OnePlus Open has a similar square, but a normal telephoto camera. The four circles in a square formation are the same as the OnePlus 11, but the LED flash has found its way out of the circular island. In the fourth circle there is probably an RGB sensor or a 3D ToF sensor.
We already know that the OnePlus 12 will launch in China on December 5th. A new teaser also points to January 24th as the global launch date. The support pages for Europe, US and India state that the marketing campaign will last between November 27th (today) and January 23rd. You can also read on the OnePlus India page that the second date will be “the day before the OnePlus 12 launch event.”
The posters also said that the launch will take place on December 5th at 2:30 p.m. local time. This also means that there won’t actually be any new announcements in OnePlus’ tenth anniversary keynote on December 4th. If you want to buy the OnePlus 12 in a local shop, you should register with a valid email address. There are small promotional gifts for every model sold.
