Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro / Redmi K70 Pro: first live images are here

The Redmi K70 series, which is expected to come onto the market as Xiaomi Poco F6, is now about to be officially launched on Wednesday, November 29th. Three models will hit the stage: the base model, the Redmi K70 Pro and a cheaper K70E. Today the first live images appeared on the Internet including a description of the technical data.

Both the Xiaomi Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro have 6.67-inch AMOLED displays and glass backs. At the back you will also find the updated camera design with a large glass camera island. There are three lenses inside, each housed in its own metal ring. The fourth cutout is for the LED flash. Both K70 models have 50 megapixel main cameras with OIS and an ultra-wide lens. The Pro model also has a 2x portrait camera. The entry-level model offers a presumably largely pointless 2 megapixel AI camera instead.
The settings menu confirms that both Xiaomi smartphones will be launched with the new HyperOS 1.0.1 interface based on Android 14. There is also 12 GB of RAM and the Poco F6 Pro / K70 Pro has Qualcomm’s top chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The normal K70 goes back a generation to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Redmi K70E instead uses the new Dimensity 8300 from MediaTek.
At the Redmi launch event on Wednesday, in addition to the Xiaomi Poco F6, the new Windows notebooks Redmi Book 16 2024 will also be presented. We will also see the launch of the Redmi Watch 4 and the Redmi Buds 5 Pro TWS earbuds.
