Android 14 for Samsung Galaxy A54, S23 FE, Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 is here

Samsung launched the Android 14 update with One UI 6 as the interface just a few weeks ago. First it was the turn of the current flagships from the Galaxy S23 series. And if you remember what happened with the last major update called One UI 5 last year, Samsung will again bring dozens of models to the latest software level in the coming weeks and months.

As of today it is now clear which models are next in line. After the S23 series, the Galaxy S22 phones were next to receive their Android 14 update. The latest firmware is now also available for download for the Samsung Galaxy A54, the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Z Flip5 and the Galaxy Z Fold5.
However, the update for the Samsung Galaxy A54 is initially only available for devices from the American provider AT&T. The rollouts for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are also initially limited to Verizon customers in the USA. The rollout for the Galaxy S23 FE seems to be a little more global, but so far only affects models with Samsung’s own Exynos chipset. Owners of the US model with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor will have to be patient a little longer.
Global rollout ahead
Now that the firmware updates are appearing on the first providers and in the first countries, they will be available very quickly on all providers and on all unlocked devices in all countries. As is usual with such rollouts, distribution can be staggered. If you don’t see an update notification on your Samsung phone yet, you can also search for it manually at any time. To do this, simply go to Software Update in the settings of your Galaxy A54, S23 FE, Z Flip5 or Z Fold5 and start the manual search.
