Redmi K100 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 200 MP camera
Leaks about the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro Max first surfaced in March, and today the K100 Pro also emerged from the shadows. Allegedly, this device will feature a display with an extremely high refresh rate and ultra-high resolution, presumably QHD+.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, unlike the Pro Max, which will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. The K100 Pro features a 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, symmetrical dual stereo speakers with the most powerful performance in its segment, a large vibration motor, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and an Apple-inspired design.

The Redmi K100 Pro’s battery capacity starts with a 9, meaning it’s between 9,000 mAh and 9,999 mAh. It supports 100W wired charging and wireless charging (possibly 50W). The device is fully waterproof, likely meeting IP69 standards (or possibly both IP68 and IP69).
The Redmi K90 Pro Max was unveiled last October, and the K100 devices are expected in September. So there’s still plenty of time before further details become available. However, they’re unlikely to be particularly cheap.
