vivo T5 celebrates with 7,200 mAh battery and IP69 certification unveiled
A new vivo smartphone has quietly launched in Mexico. It’s the vivo T5 4G, an affordable phone with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset. One of its key features is its large 7,200 mAh battery.
The vivo T5 4G features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution.
Inside the phone is a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset, combined with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The 7,200 mAh battery supports 44-watt wired fast charging, and vivo states that it allows up to 45 hours of video playback on a single charge.
vivo T5 4G with 50 MP camera and Android 16
On the back is a square camera module with a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth camera. A 32 MP camera is available for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, is IP68/IP69 water-resistant, and has stereo speakers. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-SIM 4G support, NFC, an infrared transmitter, and a USB Type-C port.
The vivo T5 4G is available in Mexico in black and gold. The only variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 5,799 MXN (287 euros/335 US dollars).
