Honor Play 70C with a 5,300 mAh battery and 6.75-inch display is here
Honor has quietly unveiled a budget-friendly device in its Play series in China: the Honor Play 70C. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset and features a 5,300 mAh battery. The company also revealed the Play 80 Plus with a 7,500 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.
The Honor Play 70C features a 6.75-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also includes a 13-megapixel main camera that supports 1080p video recording and offers up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The device features a 5,300 mAh battery and an octa-core processor from MediaTek, which can be combined with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Honor Play 70C still runs Android 15
The Honor smartphone runs MagicOS 9.0 out of the box, based on last year’s Android 15. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports dual SIM with 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and also features a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Honor Play 70C is available in Ink Rock Black, Lake Blue, and Moonlit Silver.
The device is currently available in China and starts at 599 CNY (75 euros/90 US dollars) for the version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The version with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage costs 699 CNY (88 euros/105 US dollars), and the model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage costs 799 CNY (100 euros/115 US dollars).
