Honor Robot, Robot Phone and Magic V6 are coming to MWC

Honor has confirmed that it will present the foldable Magic V6 and the Robot Phone at the MWC. The company has now named further devices that will be showcased at the conference, including the first Honor Robot.

The Honor Magic V6 is expected to come with the largest battery on a foldable smartphone worldwide. Additionally, the company is launching the Honor MagicPad4 tablet and the MagicBook Pro 14 notebook, both featuring a particularly slim design and, of course, various AI functions.

Furthermore, the company’s first humanoid robot, the Honor Robot, is expected to arrive at MWC. We don’t know much more about it yet, apart from the teaser image above and the teaser video below.

Honor is investing heavily in the development of AI technology, and humanoid robots belong to a different class than LLMs. In some ways, they are much more difficult to build, since you can’t simply search the internet for training data like you can with LLMs.
Building on the Alpha plan that Honor unveiled at MWC last year, the company explains: “This year’s product launches will highlight our recent advancements – from flagship devices to robotics innovations – and further advance our vision of a synergistic human-machine future.”
