vivo S70 to support its own teleconverter

vivo unveiled the S60 series in China this May, but a new leak claims that the company is already working on its successor, the vivo S70. According to the leak, the smartphone will also support a teleconverter.

Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed in a Weibo post that vivo’s latest S-series smartphone will be equipped with a 64-megapixel Sony LYT610 periscope telephoto camera with teleconverter support.

According to the source, the latest prototype of the vivo S70 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution. The smartphone is also said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s series chipset, presumably the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
In a comment below the original post, the informant added that vivo had tested a rear display on an early development model of the S70. However, the company ultimately abandoned the idea.
Rumours suggest that the vivo mobile phone will be launched next month.
