Motorola Moto G87 unveiled with 200MP main camera

Motorola not only unveiled three new Razr models, but also officially confirmed the previously leaked Motorola Moto G87. This device boasts the best main camera ever featured in a G-series smartphone.





It features a 200MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and lossless 2x zoom. It also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP front camera.





The Motorola Moto G87 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and features up to 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i.

The G87 is also dustproof and waterproof according to IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards, and ruggedly tested to MIL-STD-810H; it can withstand drops from up to 1.2 meters. Motorola also promises that the G87 offers up to 280% more power than its predecessor thanks to its dual speakers.

The Motorola smartphone also features a 5,200 mAh battery with support for 30 watt wired charging and runs on the latest Android 16.
The Moto G87 will be available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America in the coming weeks. The price has not yet been announced. Interestingly, the smartphone appears to be called the Moto G Max in some markets.
