Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7: Live images and official cases
Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is less than a week away. The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, Z Flip7 FE, and the Galaxy Watch8 will be unveiled there. We’ve already seen numerous details about the Z Fold7, but thanks to a new report from NieuweMobiel, we can now get our first look at the five official Samsung cases for it.
The silicone case will be available in black, blue, gray, and green. It features a built-in kickstand and is expected to retail for €69.
Samsung also offers a transparent case for users who want to show off their smartphone’s original color. This case does not have a stand and costs €49.
If you want a transparent case and need additional grip, Samsung also offers the Clear Grip Case with a retractable finger loop. It is expected to cost €53.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to have wireless Qi2 shop, but does not have magnets, which is not unusual. Samsung offers a solution with the Clear Magnet Case: a magnetic circle on the back facilitates the orientation with Qi2 charging devices. This model is expected to be available for € 57 in retail. Samsung also brings back its traditional carbon shield case with a subtle carbon fiber pattern. This model is expected to be available for € 89 in retail.
Interestingly, none of these covers has an S PEN holster. This corresponds to a rumor from the beginning of the year, according to which the FOLD7 may lack the SE PEN support. Another report indicates that Samsung will redesign the S Pen for the Fold7 and make it a little thicker for better ergonomics.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 appears on live images
In a second leak of today, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 also appeared on live images. The images on X show the extremely slim profile of the foldable.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 in the pictures is presented in the new color Blue Shadow. The camera natel resembles that of the Galaxy Z Fold6, but apparently has metal rings. The LED flash is deeper in the new model.
We also get a glimpse of the Fold7’s slim side profile, which, according to the latest rumors, measures just 4.2 mm when unfolded and 8.9 mm when folded. The Z Fold7 is rumored to weigh 215 grams, making it 24 grams lighter than the Fold6.
As for the rest of the specs, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumored to have an 8.2-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The Fold7 is expected to feature a 4,400 mAh battery with 25W charging and debut with One UI 8 based on Android 16.
