Motorola Moto G47 Power on the way with big battery upgrade

Motorola launched the Moto G47 in April, and interestingly, the company is now preparing not a successor, but a new family member – the Motorola Moto G47 Power.

Motorola has published the documentation for the European energy label. This reveals that the Moto smartphone is equipped with a battery with a nominal capacity of 6,790 mAh. Motorola will likely state this as a typical capacity of 6,900 or 7,000 mAh.

This is a significant improvement over the 5,200 mAh battery of the G47. The G47 Power supports 33-watt fast charging, which is also better than the 20-watt fast charging of the standard model. Like the G47, the G47 Power is also dustproof and splashproof according to IP64.
An early retailer listing in Europe last month revealed that the Motorola Moto G47 Power will be offered with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Further specifications are currently unknown. The G47 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1050 nits. It is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset. The main camera has a 108MP resolution, the macro camera a 2MP, and the front camera an 8MP.
