The Oppo Find N5 was unveiled in February, and Oppo is already working hard on its successor. The Oppo Find N6 has just surfaced in China with some new technical details.

The Oppo Find N6 is expected to feature an 8.1-inch foldable display and a 6.6-inch external display. It will be powered by the fastest chipset currently on the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. A battery with a capacity of approximately 6,000 mAh will provide the power. Presumably a silicon-carbon cell.

On the back is a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 sensor, measuring 1/1.4 inches. According to the leak, it also features a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. An ultrawide camera is also likely included.

The fingerprint sensor remains integrated into the power button on the side. The smartphone also offers high water resistance and supports wireless charging. Interestingly, it’s said to be thinner and lighter than an as-yet-unnamed Ultra model, which can only be the Find X8 Ultra or the upcoming Find X9 Ultra.

If the leaker is referring to the first option, the Oppo Find N6 would be less than 8.8 mm thick and lighter than 226 g when folded. Both are entirely possible, as the Find N5 is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 229 g when folded.
