Honor MagicBook Pro 16 with Core Ultra 7 and NVIDIA 4060 is here
Honor has just introduced its most powerful notebook yet. The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 features an Intel Core Ultra 7 155G processor, an 8GB NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU, 1TB of storage, and 32GB of RAM. The metal casing is painted in a cool effect white, which Honor treated with 3D coloring spray technology.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 has a full-size keyboard with a numpad on the right side. There is a large glass trackpad underneath and there are also two speakers on the sides. You get a total of six speakers, which also support spatial audio. There are also two microphones, a fingerprint sensor in the power button and an infrared camera in the frame above the display for Windows Hello authentication.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 has a 16-inch FullView display with a resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 pixels. The panel delivers 500 nits of brightness, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces and also offers HDR support. The frame around the display is just 3mm thick, resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of 93%.
Intel’s Core Ultra 7 155H ticks inside – the latest of Intel’s revised Meteor Lake chipsets. It has 16 physical cores with 6 performance, 8 efficiency and 2 new low-power efficiency cores. This makes 22 threads possible, and there are also two Intel Gen3 Neural Compute Engines on board. That last point is crucial – all of Intel’s new CPUs feature a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI-accelerated CPU and GPU tasks. These include, for example, background blur, eye tracking and generative filling.
The dedicated NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU has 8GB of memory and significantly outperforms Intel’s integrated Xe GPU when gaming or video editing. The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 also has a 75 Wh battery that, according to Honor, achieves a runtime of 10 hours in the PCMark 10 battery test. In addition, despite its size, the laptop only weighs 1.86 kg.
