Honor 600 Pro beats iPhone 17 Pro and Galaxy S26 in unusual battery test

The Honor 600 series was unveiled yesterday and launched in Europe today – with one important change: while the devices sold in Asia are equipped with a 7,000 mAh Si-C battery, the European versions have 6,400 mAh batteries.
Although the different battery capacities clearly favor the international version of the Honor 600, Honor opted for a rather unusual battery test compared to its main competitors.

Instead of comparing battery life in typical usage scenarios, Honor engineers removed the 7,000 mAh Si-C battery from the Pro model smartphone and installed it in a remote-controlled car.

They then repeated the test using the batteries of a Apple iPhone 17 Pro, which has a capacity of 4,252 mAh, and a Samsung Galaxy S26, which has a capacity of 4,300 mAh.

The three battery cells then competed against each other on the racetrack to determine which had the longest runtime. Thanks to its significantly higher capacity, Honor predictably emerged victorious.
The video above, by the way, contains some not-so-subtle digs at Apple and Samsung. Thus, the iPhone 17 Pro is described as “The first to retire,” while the Galaxy S26 is described as “The tenacious challenger.”
