Galaxy Z Flip7 FE with Exynos 2400 in Geekbench test
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE will become the first foldable Fan Edition this week when the clamshell phone is unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7, the Z Fold7, and the Galaxy Watch8 series. Ahead of Wednesday’s big announcement, a Geekbench test for the Z Flip7 FE surfaced today to confirm the chipset, RAM, and software version.
Geekbench appears to have tested the European version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, judging by the final “B” of the model number SM-F761B. In addition to the Exynos 2400 chipset (s5e9945) and 8 GB of RAM, the test also shows the software version Android 16, which is expected to run Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8 interface. A total of 1,940 single-core and 6,136 multi-core points came together, which matches the Samsung chipset.
Previous leaks speculated that the FE, like the Galaxy Z Flip6, would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Exynos 2400e or the new Exynos 2500, just like the regular Z Flip7. This new test now confirms that the Flip7 FE will use last year’s flagship Exynos chip.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is rumored to be a redesigned Z Flip6 with the same key features. These include a 3.4-inch cover display, a 6.8-inch main display, and a 4,000 mAh battery. Previous rumors indicate that the price in South Korea will start at 1 million KRW (€645/$740/£545).
