Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: New leak with various pictures and specs
We’re less than a month away from Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, and the leaks about the Galaxy S26 series just keep coming. The latest leak combines the key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with more official renderings of the device in cobalt purple and black. It also includes detailed technical specifications with almost all the details about Samsung’s upcoming top-of-the-line flagship.
Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 1–120 Hz. The panel will reportedly have the new “Privacy Display“, which can be used to limit visibility when viewed from the side. It also includes a 12 MP selfie camera and S Pen support.”
In terms of dimensions, the S26 Ultra is expected to measure 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm and weigh 214 grams. This is almost identical to the dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra of 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm with a weight of 218 g.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. However, it’s not yet confirmed whether this is a higher-clocked “for Galaxy” variant like previous S-series models. The smartphone ships with 256 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1 TB.
The back of the smartphone will feature a redesigned camera array with a 200MP main camera (ISOCELL HP2), rumored to have an f/1.4 aperture for improved low-light performance. This will be complemented by a 50MP ultrawide module (Samsung JN3), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (IMX854), and a 12MP telephoto lens (Samsung S5K3LD).
Anyone hoping for a higher battery capacity will be disappointed by Samsung, as they have been for years: According to the latest leak, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will also be sold with the familiar 5,000 mAh battery. While the new leak doesn’t mention charging speed, a new 60-watt charger surfaced in a leak from earlier this year, which, however, showed hardly any improvements in the test.
Samsung is expected to announce the S26 series on February 25th. Pre-sales are scheduled to begin on March 5th, with the official sales launch expected on March 11th.
