“Widow’s Bay” was the most awarded series of the evening, sweeping all major categories with a total of 14 awards, including Best Comedy Series. This makes it the comedy series with the most Emmy Awards of all time. The series also received the most awards ever won by a comedy series in a single season.

In addition, Pluribus won the award for best lead actress in a drama series (Rhea Seehorn) and the award for best screenplay in a drama series (Vince Gilligan), while the drama Slow Horses won the award for best director in a drama series (Saul Metzstein).

Apple TV has achieved the status of the network with the most Emmy awards faster than any other streaming service in the last seven Emmy seasons. Following last year’s success with “The Studio,” Apple TV now boasts the most awarded series for the second year in a row. Thanks to “Ted Lasso“, “The Studio” and now “Widow’s Bay,” Apple TV has won the award for best comedy series in four of the last six years.
