Huawei Pura X View unveiled with 16:9.5 widescreen display and 7,000 mAh battery

Huawei’s rumored non-folding smartphone with a wide aspect ratio is now official. The company has unveiled the Huawei Pura X View, which features a wide design and a 16:9.5 aspect ratio display.


The Huawei Pura X View is the world’s first non-folding smartphone with a large display. Its design is similar to the Pura X Max. Although Huawei has not yet released the full specifications, the Pura X View features a display with a 16:9.5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,232 × 1,320 pixels.




The panel is said to achieve an extremely high peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits, while the phone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 96.1% with bezels only 1.05 mm thin.
Despite its 7,000 mAh battery, the Huawei Pura X View is only 6.68 mm thick
Another highlight of the Pura X View is its slim design. The smartphone is only 6.68 mm thick and weighs 201 grams, despite being equipped with a 7,000 mAh battery.
The Huawei smartphone also features a triple-lens rear camera housed in a horizontal, pill-shaped module. It will be available in four colors and with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. These are all the specifications Huawei has released so far.
Interested buyers can pre-order the Huawei Pura X View from the company’s official online store in China. Huawei will announce the full specifications, price, and availability of the smartphone on August 28.
According to a Weibo insider, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.39-inch display and a Kirin 9030s chipset. The rear camera setup is said to consist of three 50MP sensors.
