Huawei MateBook Fold 2026 with Kirin X90 Plus chipset is here
Huawei unveiled the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design, its foldable notebook, last May, followed by the Master Edition a few months later. Now, the company has introduced the Huawei MateBook Fold 2026 with an improved chipset.
The Huawei MateBook Fold 2026 is powered by the Kirin X90 Plus chipset and can be configured with up to 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage.

While the hardware remains largely unchanged compared to last year’s model, Huawei has redesigned the notebook. The foldable 18-inch OLED display with two LTPO layers, a resolution of 3,296 x 2,472 pixels, and a 4:3 aspect ratio is still present.
When folded, the device is the size of a 13-inch laptop and offers a resolution of 2472 x 1648 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. It also features an 8-megapixel front camera.
The foldable smartphone features a zirconium-based liquid metal hinge that allows for various viewing angles and an integrated, fold-out kickstand on the back. It ships with HarmonyOS 6.1 and offers a range of AI-powered features.
The MateBook Fold 2026 features the same 74.69 Wh battery as its predecessor. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and satellite communication. It is also equipped with six speakers and four microphones.
The notebook is available in Phantom Black, Radiant Gold and Sky White, all with a vegan leather-look back.
Prices
The price for the 24GB RAM/512GB storage variant starts at 24,999 CNY (3,209 EUR/3,700 USD). The models with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, as well as 32GB RAM and 2TB storage, cost 26,999 CNY (3,466 EUR/4,000 USD) and 29,999 CNY (3,851 EUR/4,445 USD), respectively. The Huawei MateBook Fold 2026 is already available in the official Huawei online store in China.
