Apple iPhone Fold vs Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold
A new rumor from the well-known tipster Ice Universe contradicts the dimensions of the Apple iPhone Fold, which were revealed last week through alleged CAD drawings. Therefore, we advise you to treat this information with extreme caution.
Apple iPhone Fold
According to Ice Universe, the inner foldable screen of the Apple iPhone Fold will have a diagonal of 7.58 inches and an aspect ratio of 4:3, while the outer display will have a diagonal of 5.35 inches.
Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold
At the same time, rumors are circulating that Samsung is already working diligently in Korea on its own wide foldable smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold. While Samsung has so far opted for a tall, narrow design like the current Galaxy Z Fold7, Apple’s decision to use the exact opposite format in Korea has apparently not gone unnoticed.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold is rumored to have a 7.6-inch inner display with the same 4:3 aspect ratio as the Apple iPhone Fold and a 5.4-inch outer display. It will therefore be slightly larger than the iPhone, but the difference will likely be barely noticeable unless you hold both devices side by side.

Furthermore, a new video of the iPhone Fold from additional angles has surfaced. It could be based on the leaked CAD drawings, however, the video contains no source information. Therefore, it could also be pure speculation.
Furthermore, there is at least one significant deviation from the previously leaked CAD drawings: the inconsistent placement of the selfie camera on the inner, foldable screen. According to the video, the iPhone Fold will also only be released in black and white.
Rumours are circulating that Apple insisted on a minimal, almost invisible crease in the display, and this plays a major role in this video, even though Chinese foldables have had hardly any creases for years.
Furthermore, the UFG Display could have an aspect ratio of 4:3 in the unfolded state.
