Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A27 before launch
Samsung launched the Galaxy A36 in March, and with the device’s first anniversary approaching, it should come as no surprise that the Korean company is already working on its successor, the Samsung Galaxy A37. Furthermore, its smaller sibling, the Samsung Galaxy A27, is about to launch, as a second leak proves.
Samsung Galaxy A37 Test Firmware Appears on Test Servers
The firmware for the Samsung Galaxy A37 has appeared on Samsung’s initial test servers. It is specifically designed for the SM-A376U model, which is intended for the US market. In fact, some of the test versions are intended for US mobile carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and UScellular.
This is a pretty clear indication that the Samsung Galaxy A37 will be widely available in the US. Whether it will be released there simultaneously with other markets remains to be seen. With the Galaxy A36, it took about four months after its worldwide launch before it was available in the US. Hopefully, Samsung won’t repeat that. The fact that the US firmware is already in development suggests it might.
It is still unclear what the technical specifications of the Galaxy A37 will be. The predecessor features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1900 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 6, 8, or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage.
It also boasts a triple-camera system on the back, consisting of a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 5 MP macro camera. Finally, it also features a 12 MP selfie camera and a 5000 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Before Launch
In addition to the Samsung Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57, the Koreans are also working on the Galaxy A27, which is also expected to be officially released next year. According to a new leak from GalaxyClub, all three Galaxy phones will be released around the same time.
According to the source, the Samsung Galaxy A27 will have the model number SM-A276 and is intended to fill the gap between the Galaxy A17 and the A37 and A57 models. Samsung has not yet commented on the Galaxy A27. We eagerly await further details.
