Techwoven cases for Apple iPhone 17 surfaced
Apple is designing new “TechWoven” cases for the iPhone 17, as revealed by new photos of some of the alleged case colors from tipster Majin Bu. The cases feature a subtle fabric design in black, blue, green, purple, and orange.
The TechWoven cases are intended to replace the fabric-like FineWoven cases that Apple discontinued with the launch of the iPhone 16. The cases were unpopular with customers due to their tendency to stain and lack of durability. The fabric of the new TechWoven cases has reportedly been “redesigned for greater durability.”
Majin Bu claims the cases will feature metal buttons with “enhanced tactile feedback,” a camera control button, MagSafe compatibility, and two small holes on the bottom for attaching a neck strap or accessory. The cases appear to be intended for the iPhone 17 Pro models, which are rumored to feature a horizontal camera bar due to the size of the camera cutout.
However, Bu says the TechWoven cases will be available for all iPhone 17 models. It’s still unclear whether these cases are authentic, but we’ll find out in less than a month when Apple unveils the new iPhones.
