Samsung Galaxy S25: Next One UI 8 beta update
Samsung is rolling out the third One UI 8 version update for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series to beta users in the UK, India, Germany, and South Korea. The US and Poland are expected to receive the latest software update today.
The One UI 8 update for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is 1.2 GB in size and includes several bug fixes. For example, an overlap between the status bar of recently used apps and the running app has been fixed, as has an unwanted keyboard input on restart in the PIN entry screen of the secure folder. Additionally, a text input error occurred with the swipe gesture, which has been fixed.
The long wait time when accessing the mode/routine menu has been significantly reduced. Users of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra no longer receive an error message when entering text with the S Pen. However, the changelog mentions further software optimizations and performance improvements.
If the initial rumors are correct, Samsung will release One UI 8 later this year alongside the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. This would make this third version of the software the last beta version. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed by Samsung. Both foldables will launch with the new version of Samsung’s interface.
