Pokémon Pokopia celebrates its first Halloween event

The spooky season is just around the corner, and many video games have already announced their annual Halloween events, giving players a taste of what to expect. Pokémon Pokopia is following this trend and celebrating its first Halloween event. Players can celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year in Pokopia with a themed event running from October 17th to November 1st.

Pokémon Pokopia has hosted events for various occasions in the past. The most recent event, “Collect Scales for Feebas,” took place in August and gave players the chance to collect water-themed furniture to celebrate the first part of the Pokopia Expansion Pass and a free update. These events are great fun and offer players a welcome change from the usual gameplay while unlocking special furniture and Pokémon.
Pumpkaboo is leading the Halloween event in Pokopia
The Halloween event in Pokémon Pokopia begins on October 17 at 5:00 AM – when the day is reset in the game (or earlier for players who have reset the time via system settings) – and ends on November 1 at 4:59 AM.

To start the event, players must speak to Pumpkaboo, who is standing in front of the newly decorated Pokémon Center. This Pokémon has a variety of Halloween items for sale that players can trade for. However, they will need the event currency: Candy.

To get candy, players must use Zorua’s “Disguise” ability, which allows them to transform into a nearby object. They must transform into an object that is popular with Pokémon and attracts its attention. As soon as the Pokémon approaches, the players must jump out and scare it. This Halloween trick will earn them candy.
During the event, players can use the Halloween-themed items available at the Pokémon Center to build an enclosure for a special Pokémon. With the right combination of items, players can summon Gourgeist, the evolution of Pumpkaboo. The two of them create a truly spooky atmosphere in the city.
