Exynos 2600 in new Geekbench test: Samsung catches up

In July, the upcoming Samsung Exynos 2600 chipset first appeared in a Geekbench test. At the time, however, the test results were unimpressive, with a single-core score of 2,155 and a multi-core score of 7,788 points. Today, the chip made another attempt and achieved significantly better results, finally reaching the flagship level Samsung was aiming for.
This time, the Samsung Exynos 2600 achieved a single-core score of 3,309 and a multi-core score of 11,256 points. Samsung is definitely optimizing performance, as these results are close to Apple’s M3 processor and even surpass Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite.



The CPU’s main core now reaches 3.8 GHz (previously 3.55 GHz), while the three performance cores can reach up to 3.26 GHz. (previously 2.96 GHz) and the six other cores are clocked at 2.76 GHz (previously 2.46 GHz).
The Exynos 2600 is expected to be the first mobile chipset manufactured using the 2 nm process. According to Samsung, it will offer “a significant improvement in NPU performance” compared to the Exynos 2500, with “improved support for on-device AI.” The Exynos 2600 will most likely debut in January in the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge.
