Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in Geekbench test
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has apparently been discovered in the Geekbench online database. As usual, the benchmark test revealed not only the performance but also the chipset. The Korean company’s next flagship tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. The prime core runs at a clock speed of 3.73 GHz.
The results of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra prototype, however, are far below the capabilities of this processor. This is probably because it is a very early prototype and Samsung is still fine-tuning it. Therefore, the test results of 1,420 single-core points and 5,312 multi-core points should not be taken too seriously for now— In fact, the Dimensity 9400+ is capable of almost twice the performance.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra already with Android 16
According to the test, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also has 12 GB of RAM in at least one configuration and already runs Android 16. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was released in October after being announced in late September. This schedule could repeat this year. If this is the case, however, there is an overlap, as the successor, the Dimensity 9500, is expected to be announced in early September, according to the latest rumors.
This would mean that Samsung would launch its flagship tablet with a chipset that was already outdated at the time of its launch, which would be inconsistent with the Korean company’s previous strategy. According to the latest leak from the end of May, at least the battery capacity of the Samsung tablet will increase. We’re eagerly awaiting the next leak regarding the technical specifications.
