At Computex 2026, Nvidia unveiled its highly anticipated entry into the consumer chip market – the Nvidia RTX Spark, a chipset that combines a powerful and efficient ARM CPU with an RTX GPU. This superchip unites an Nvidia Grace CPU with up to 20 cores with an Nvidia Blackwell GPU featuring 6,144 CUDA cores and up to 128 GB of fast unified LPDDR5X memory.

The Nvidia RTX Spark is based on Nvidia’s GB10 chip and is integrated into the DGX Spark platform, a class of mini-PCs for businesses that run a customized version of Ubuntu Linux. The GPU is essentially equivalent to an RTX 5070 (non-Ti) with the same number of CUDA cores. The chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process.

While the RTX Spark is undoubtedly ideal for content creation and gaming PCs, according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, the focus is on running AI agents locally on the computer. AI agents are the next generation of LLMs (Large Language Models) and can execute complex generation tasks on demand. They require both powerful processing power and ample memory – this is where the 128 GB of Unified Memory comes in.

The Nvidia RTX Spark is designed for slim and powerful laptops launching this fall. Nvidia is collaborating with Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Microsoft. Microsoft plans to use the RTX Spark chip in its Surface Laptop Ultra, which is expected to be the company’s most powerful laptop to date.

The price is still unknown, but it will be expensive. For comparison, Nvidia’s DGX Spark costs between $3,500 and $4,700 and can be configured with up to 128 GB of RAM – and that doesn’t even include a premium notebook with an OLED display.
