Apple iPhone 20 with Liquid Glass display and no visible bezels
According to the well-known Chinese leaker Ice Universe the Apple iPhone 20 will use a new type of curved screen technology that more effectively hides the display edges from the user’s field of vision, providing a purer viewing experience.
Apple is reportedly planning a radical redesign for the iPhone to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The display is said to curve around all four edges of the device. Apple reportedly intends to use a uniformly deep, quadruple-curved panel from Samsung for this purpose. It sounds like it would be significantly different from conventional curved screens.
According to the tip, it is neither a conventional quad-curved display, nor anything comparable to the curved screen solutions we have seen in recent years on Android smartphones. This is said to be due to the extremely subtle curvature, but other factors could apparently also play a role.

“What really creates the visual effect is possibly an ingenious combination of optical refraction, light-guiding structures, and carefully constructed optical illusions,” Ice Universe wrote in a post on X. “The end result could be a display where the bezel nearly disappears from sight, while edge viewing remains natural and undisturbed.”
The Apple iPhone 20 will reportedly also use a Samsung developed OLED technology called COE (color filter on encapsulation) to make the display brighter and thinner than previous models. The leaker suggests Apple might call it a “Liquid Glass Display,” in reference to the recently redesigned user interface.
The display analyst Ross Young believes that the Apple iPhone 20 will not yet get Face ID under the display in 2027. Other leakers believe this is possible. If Apple can’t fit all the functions under the display, we could see Face ID under the display and a small cutout for the front camera.
